Rabbi Ben-Dahan: Time to Repeal Oslo Rabbi Ben-Dahan: It’s time to put an end to Oslo, annex Judea and Samaria.

Rabbi Eli Ben-Dahan, a candidate for the Ichud Leumi (National Union) Knesset faction list, said Friday that the time has come for the Knesset to officially put an end to the Oslo process.

Rabbi Dahan spoke in response to a question regarding Israel’s moneytransfers to the Palestinian Authority.Money transfers continue despite the fact that most of the money goes to Gaza, which is under the control of theopenly genocidal Hamas terrorist group.

He explained that Members of Knesset do not have a say in the money transfers, which take place automatically, making his views irrelevant even if he is elected. However, he said, the Knesset does have the power to overturn the accords under which the money is sent – and should do so.

The Knesset should also vote to annex Judea and Samaria, he declared.

Rabbi Dahan also addressed questions regarding the Ichud Leumi party’s anticipated pre-elections merger with Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home). Some expressed concern that the merger would lead to a softening of Ichud Leumi’s strongly pro-land of Israel stance. Rabbi Dahan said he believes the opposite will occur, and Ichud Leumi’s strong stance will influence Habayit Hayehudi to  stick to similar principles.

Many in the audience called on Rabbi Dahan to help find a way to keep Ichud Leumi MKs Aryeh Eldad and Michael Ben-Ari in the party. Both plan to leave the party over disputes between their respective factions and the Tekuma faction led by party head MK Yaakov “Ketzaleh” Katz.

Rabbi Dahan spoke Friday at the abandoned IDF base in Shdema. Land of Israel groups have been meeting regularly at the site as part of an effort to prevent it from being transferred to Palestinian Authority control. Their efforts have led to plans toplace a military base there as well as growing calls in government to establish an Israeli civilian presence in the strategic area.
