The Sefer Torah in the attached pictures is the Sefer Torah that was dedicated on the top (and inside) of the Hermon last year to the Nahal Brigade’s 932nd Battalion. It is they who brought the Sefer Torah with them in Gaza and read the Torah for both parshiot Matot and Ma’asei while in Beit Hanoun. The case was originally for holding TOW missiles and it was re-designed a bit to fit the Sefer Torah in a more mechubad manner. It is the only Sefer Torah to have been brought in to a combat zone and read regularly by the soldiers. Now that’s a Jewish army!
