Why Do You Love Dames of the Dance?

"DAMES of the DANCE" is a charity dance extravaganza that brings 100 women on to the stage to dance in order to feed the needy before the holiday of Passover. Through jazz, tap, ballet, modern, 60s, Mediterranean, Israeli folk, Western, they bring joy and inspiration, excitement and fun to the audience, as they help those less fortunate. DAMES, now in its eighth year, was founded by Sharon Katz, who also founded Raise Your Spirits theater (2001). As of 2014, DAMES donated 260,000 NIS to charity.
